Parts for Walkie Stacker - A pallet stacker is a type of pallet jack that is employed to transport, stack and lift palletized goods that are overly heavy for manual lifting. Its main purpose is to load and unload pallets on trucks, and also transferring pallets to and from a variety of places within a storeroom space or warehouse. For the most part pallet stackers are manufactured of heavy duty materials to endure tremendous weights. Pallet stackers are sometimes referred to as pallet jacks. They can be operated from a seated, upright or walk-behind position. Pallet jacks are divided into manual and powered varieties.

Pallet jacks are commonly comprised of a set of forks that are able to slide beneath a pallet, capable of lifting to a preferred height or moving it to a specific location. The engine section or casing houses the gas-run, electronic or hydraulic apparatus that powers the appliance.

Manual pallet stackers are hand-powered. They run hydraulically to make lifting burdensome pallets an easier task. Usually a walk-behind model meaning they are operated by pulling and pushing the jack to its preferred location. Utilizing a foot pedal or lever raises the stacker's forks. Squeezing a lever or trigger returns the forks to the floor. These types of pallet stackers are perfect for lighter loads of up to approximately 1 ton or 907.18 kg.

Most stackers may accommodate the raising of heavy weights to around 5 tons with both the gas or electric machines. They are physically less demanding to control than the labor-intensive versions thanks to the hydraulic power that hoists and lowers the forks. These models are steered by turning the handle in a particular direction. There is a button on the handle that functions to raise and lower the forks. A throttle set up on the stacker's handle moves the appliance forward and in reverse. This variety of equipment is commonly referred to as a lift truck and is operated from a sit-down position.

As the fork width, load maximum and lift peak vary dramatically between separate versions, choosing the right pallet stacker to fit the job is critical. Some stacker's lift height may permit multiple pallets to be stacked, while others might only permit two at a time. Some models of these lift trucks feature an adjustable fork so as to permit the stacker to slide under pallets of different sizes and shapes. Multiple fork models can be fairly effective when different types of pallets are being utilized in the same stockroom.
