To quickly set up our manufacturing facility
An all-electric commercial vehicle manufacturing facility is launching its headquarters in Sparks. The move is expected to create 300 jobs.
Governor Brian Sandoval, Cenntro Automotive executives and The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) made the announcement Friday morning at a press conference at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
Also in attendance were representatives from the Governor's Office of Economic Development, City of Sparks Mayor Geno Martini, numerous business partners including Avison and Young, CB Richard Ellis, IndCor Properties, University of Nevada Reno, Truckee Meadows Community College, Nevada Job Connect, and Nevada Industry Excellence. Several of Cenntro's zero-emission commercial vehicles were on display.
Cenntro Automotive Corporation will manufacture both the Citelac and Kombi EV at the 80,000 square-foot facility located on Lillard Drive near Sparks Blvd.
